Caring for Carotte & Cie creations, to make them last

Carotte & Cie creations are designed to accompany little ones every day. Taking care of them means extending their softness, their quality... and the memories they hold.

By following these care instructions, you extend the lifespan of your creations while keeping their soft and comforting appearance.

Discover how to wash and dry your Carotte & Cie toys and accessories. Like our musical cushions, because yes, our musical cushions don't have batteries and are machine washable! Just like all our other textile accessories! We tell you everything about the care of our baby products and if in doubt, refer to the woven label on each product.

Need a repair? Contact us!

Before making any repair request, please contact us or send us a few photos of your comforter, musical cushion, rattle, or teething ring to alexandra@carotteetcie.com. This will allow us to assess the product's condition and tell you whether it can be repaired or if its wear is unfortunately too extensive.

Every Carotte & Cie creation is made with care and deserves our full attention. That's why we treat each request with the same kindness and attachment that we have for our baby toys and accessories.

Musical cushions and other stuffed toys.

During their first few months, your baby will use their toys and accessories a lot, and it's important for you to be able to maintain them easily!

Well, we've thought of you, new parents, and your precious time...

Washing: Machine wash at 30°C. We recommend washing your musical cushion with your regular laundry or bath towels in the washing machine to avoid damaging the mechanism. You can also add tennis balls to help maintain the plushness of the filling.

Drying: We recommend air-drying your cushion to best preserve the colors of the fabrics.

Accessories & playmats

Our flat comfortersblankets, bibs, wipes, and swaddles will accompany your little ones daily and will be washed frequently.

Washing: all our accessories are fully machine washable at 30°C.

Drying: accessories can be machine dried; prefer gentle drying to keep your accessories in good condition for as long as possible.

Teething rings

You can clean the wooden ring with a damp cloth, or you can naturally disinfect the ring with water and a little white vinegar.

Washing: the textile part can be easily cleaned by hand with a little water and neutral soap, such as Marseille soap.

Drying: we recommend air-drying your teething ring and not using a tumble dryer.

Tumble drying is possible at a low temperature, but to prolong the life of your products, we recommend natural drying.

For a small stain, a hand pre-wash with a mild soap or natural stain remover is ideal before machine washing.
